She was born March 21st, 1959 in Westerly, Rhode Island to George and Lorraine Sylvia. She has two brothers, Gary and George Sylvia. She found her soul mate, Roy at the age of 31 and the two were married on March 2nd, 1996 in Los Angeles, California.
Linda received the Home Maker of Tomorrow award in 1977. She also graduated high school with Honors. Linda received an associates degree in Radiology from Community College of Rhode Island in 1979. Linda worked at Westerly Hospital as an x-ray technician for several years. She moved to Los Angeles, and got a job at the Beverly Hills Medical Center, doing Radiology. She and her parents went to Medjugorje, a town in Bosnia and Herzegovina to help Bosnian Refugees during the Bosnian War. This was one of many examples of how Linda put others before herself.
Linda loved decorating and remodeling houses, enjoyed hiking, painting and being surrounded by her family. She was the best dresser, with an amazing eye for color. She never had a “lazy day”.
She is survived by her husband Roy, her daughter Danielle, her parents George and Lorraine, and her brothers Gary and George, as well as, two step daughters, Tracy and Melissa, and three grandchildren, Casey, Avery, and Jordyn.
Funeral service will be held at 12:30pm, February 24th at King David Chapel. Burial will be held at 2:00pm at King David Cemetery.
