Virginia S. Regis, 76, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away on Saturday, February 27th after a long battle with cancer and finally succumbing to the Covid-19 virus. Virginia was born in San Mateo, Philippines, came to the United States in 1968. She was married, had one child, and is survived by her only son, Kristopher Tatlonghari who is engaged to his fiancée, Lola Compitello.
Virginia was a beautiful soul; a strong minded and independent woman who went above and beyond to provide for her family and set an example for her son. She spent the majority of her career as a substance abuse counselor, and helped those who were suffering from addiction. After retiring, she spent her days relaxing and traveling the world. Virginia was a devout Roman Catholic and saw every day as a blessing.
