Errol was a member of the 1957 Dearborn Fordson High School graduating class. Errol was proud of his service in the U.S. Navy traveling the world aboard an aircraft carrier before embarking on a long and successful career as a sales executive in the computer industry, which allowed him to travel extensively and along with beloved wife Wendy, to live throughout the U.S. and Canada.
He was recently preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Wendy Koos; he is survived by his children Errol Koos Jr. (Julie) of Macomb, Scott Armstrong of Ann Arbor, and Heidi Breeden (Wade) of Seattle; he was preceded in death by his sons Todd, Christian, and Raymond. Errol is also survived by his cherished grandchildren James, Jack, Nina, and Alex.
Errol grew up in Dearborn, MI where he was a professional Ukrainian dancer as a child. He was the third of four children, having been preceded in death by his brothers Bob and Dave, and sister Lynn.
Errol was one of the funniest people to have graced our planet. He never missed an opportunity to see the humor in a situation, and his ability to make others laugh was amongst his greatest gifts. Even through life's challenges, he always had a story or joke to share, his loving heart wanting to ensure that the world never forgot to laugh.
Errol and Wendy traveled a beautiful road together, not without its bumps and curves, but one that allowed them to raise a dearly loved family together, gather a cherished group of friends, and travel to places they'd only once dreamed of visiting. They weathered tremendous storms together, but through everything, remained devoted to each other and their family. We are truly blessed to know that they are now together again, Home with their sons.
A memorial service will be planned for spring/summer 2021. He will rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. Louis Center, 16195 Old U.S. 12, Chelsea, MI 48118.
