Ruth Marie Mumaw Denlinger, age 91 of Dayton, Ohio (formerly of Versailles, OH) passed away peacefully at Hospice of Dayton, on February 26, 2021. Born in Versailles, Ohio on June 30, 1929 she was a daughter of the late Leo & Mamie (Pequignot) Mumaw. Ruth was a graduate of West Milton High School, class of 1948; and had attended St. Denis Catholic School. While in school, she was a cheerleader and played drums in the band. She attended the Christian Life Center Church in Dayton, Ohio. Ruth’s favorite hobbies were reading, crafting and decorating, spending time at Idle-Hour Ranch in Troy, Ohio and being with her dogs “Fawna & Fiona.” She will truly be missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Ralph, Earl, Don and Bob Mumaw: son-in-law Roger Chambliss; great-great-grandson Gideon.
Survived by her children Theresa (Roger) Chambliss; Michael(Eileen) Denlinger; Michelle (Brian) Iddings: grandchildren Angela, Paula, Elisia, Stephanie, Heidi, Keith, Brittany: great- grandchildren Kirstin, Hannah, Ashley, Cade, Brandt, Mason, Matthew, Molly Anne, Alek, Andrew: great-great grandchildren Gabriel, Isreal, Emma: sister Joan Jordan: and was host to many foreign students over the years, including her son, Rajiv Eapen.
