Lois was born August 30, 1924 in Pleasant Lawn Community, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. She lived in Kansas City North since 1959. Her later years were spent at John Knox Village in Lee’s Summit. She was a longtime member of Winnwood Methodist Church and a volunteer for 25 years at the Nearly New Shop.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ned, in 1990; her parents, Gilbert and Dorothy Lauer; and brother, Roland.
Survivors include her daughters, Janice (Kenneth) Hartman of Larned, KS; Margo (Charles) Larkin of Corder, MO; and Nancy (Robert) McDaniel of Oak Grove, MO.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Helen Lauer of Mt. Pleasant, IA; as well as a host of extended family.
Graveside services will be at 11:15 AM, Saturday, March 20, 2021, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Gladstone, MO.
