Jessica Marie Ivory (Moran) passed away peacefully on March 17, 2021 in Corpus Christi at the age of 56.
Jessica is survived by her husband, Jimmy W Ivory II; siblings, Samuel Moran of Corpus Christi, Richard (Elida) Moran of Corpus Christi, Parents Jim and Cindy Ivory of Perris, California.
She is preceded in death by her parents Edwardo and Mary Frances Moran, brother Michael Moran, niece Amelia M. Moran.
Jessica was born on August 30, 1964 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Edwardo and Mary Frances Moran. The family relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she graduated from Rancho High School in 1982. She met her soulmate and husband of 20 years Jimmy W. Ivory II in 1998. They married on November 25, 2000.
The most important things to Jessica were her family, friends, and laughter. Jessica had a unique ability to make people feel welcomed and loved. She was the life of the party. Wherever she went she arrived with a big smile and always brought her humor. Each person she spoke to she was sure to make laugh. No one was a stranger. She made lasting impressions on all people, even if it was a moment in passing. Her circle of loved ones was large. Each one a family member, whether by blood or by choice, each loved and respected equally.
Jessica is known for deep passion and love for all animals big and small, furry and scaly. Jessica and Jim enjoyed educating family and friends on their critters. Jim and Jessica belong to a variety of animal groups where they made lifelong friends all over the world. Their involvement with HERPS Exotic Reptile and Pets Show, R.A.T.I, and many other reptile, amphibian, and insect groups was near and dear to her heart.
On behalf of the Ivory and Moran families, we thank everyone for the support and prayers during this difficult time.
The family will hold a private memorial at a later date.
