She made friends easily and enjoyed life to the fullest by remaining busy with projects, church, and bowling on many leagues until the Covid 19 Pandemic caused her to quarantine.
Chris was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; David, Malvin, and Stacey Ledbetter; and sisters: Bernice Lee Ledbetter, Edna McCulley, and Maurene Murray, and her husband Harley Houston McDougal, whom she married on July 11, 1946. Those left to cherish her memories are her brothers: Jerrell and Gilbert Ledbetter, sister: Betty Lou McGowen; and her beloved children James McDougal and wife Sharon, Tommy McDougal and wife Debbie, and Kathy Green and husband Jimmy. She also leaves behind her 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
