What Mom Loved : Ocean, Loved listening to the wind blow the chimes, Loved being in peaceful settings, Candles, Teas from around the world. Mostly loved Gardening specifically planting trees, herbs and spices. Loved Minerals and Crystals, Learning new things from the internet. Loved shopping for her grandchildren and grand furbabbies. She was an advocate for holistic and homeopathic learning and sharing that knowledge with everyone. Was a very spiritual name.
Character: White light shining down brightness with her smile. She always helped other people. She never met a stranger. Her laugh carried through any store she was in and wouldn’t miss a opportunity to wait till you were several isles away to call you name. She loved to reap the rewards of all of her fruit trees producing and herbs growing. She was extremely knowledgeable in all things holistic. Never missed an opportunity to be controversial and share her opinions on Social Media. The best thing ever was to get a message saying turn up the volume.
Most Memorial Moments : She grew up in a home that was full of Vaudeville Theater and political movements. Her father was a well known local celebrity ( Farmer Russ)who played several pranks on the air such as cutting up a Barbecue pig live. As a Child growing up she often Flew with her father in his plane to Canada and on the east coast. There was one time they had to make an emergency landing in Tenn when they ran out of fuel and landed on an unpaved highway. As an young adult in Eastern Tennessee Kathleen worked with special needs children and carried that experience with her throughout her life. She later began a successful career in Restaurant Management and became a Ordained Minister in 2004 . Mom loved Womens Basketball and Placed 1stPlace in NC State All Star Team in her Highschool youth. She retired in Florida living close to her daughters enjoying the warm sun.
Celebration of Life Services will be held in Asheville NC, Place, time and date to be determined at a later time.
