Born February 4th, 1957 in Minneapolis, passed away in the loving arms of Edward William Iskierka on March 20, 2021 in the home they built together and raised their family in Maple Grove, MN.
Preceded in death by father, Robert Johnson; brothers, Wayne and Chuck; nieces, Jennie & Megan.
Survived by loving husband of 45 years, Edward; children Heather (Mark) Bookman, Brandon (Nicole); mother, Shirley Johnson, mother-in-law, Delores Iskierka; siblings, Bruce (Sheri), Steve (Valerie), Joy (Tim), Bonnie; Sisters-in-law, Elaine (Joe), Diane, Deanna; Brother-in-law, Dan (Kim); grandchildren, Mason, Kylie, Quinn, Joseph, Benjamin, Michael, Ava; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Sandi grew up in south Minneapolis, moved to Brooklyn Park and graduated from Cooper High School. After high school she graduated from beauty school. Sandi owned her own shop in the home that they built together. Sandi was talented in many crafts as well as sewing, making not only her wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses but many Halloween costumes for her kids and grandchildren. She loved watching her children and her grandchildren in their school and sporting activities. Sandi loved spending summers up at the lake, swimming, gardening, fishing, relaxing and she loved to entertain.
Public visitation will be held 4-7 PM Friday April 2, 2021 at Kapala Glodek Malone Funeral Home 7800 Bass Lake Rd, New Hope, MN. Private family services be held immediately following.
