Carolyn Hollingsworth Crissey, 93, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. Entombment will be in the Camellia Mausoleum of Riverside Cemetery. Pastor John Lehenbauer will officiate. The family will greet friends from 5 until 7 PM Friday at the funeral home. Masks and social distancing must be observed to be in attendance of the services. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the donor's favorite charity.
Mrs. Crissey was born in Macon, Georgia the daughter of the late Grace Meeks Hollingsworth and Hubbard Hollingsworth. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60+ years, Frank C. Crissey. She was retired manager of Fabrics, Inc. after 10 years of service. Mrs. Crissey was a charter member of The Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity where she taught Sunday School, was secretary of the Ladies Guild, financial secretary, and was on the church council. She was a member of the Oconee Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and served as secretary of the PEO, a Philanthropic Educational Organization.
Mrs. Crissey is survived by her daughters, Carol C. Cheek (Terry) of Ft. Valley, Xavia E. Randall (Bob Fountain) of Forsyth, and Judy C. Robinson (William) of Stuart, FL; grandchildren, Michelle Anderson, Shelly Yarber, Heather Noel, Devin Randall, Amy Farley, Jason Truett, Eric Truett, and Brittany Swiney; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
