Ghislaine M. Michaud

Ghislaine M. Michaud, 78 of East Hartford passed away unexpectedly on Saturday March 27, 2021 reuniting with her late husband Antoine Michaud in eternal rest. Ghislaine was born on March 27, 1943 in Quebec, Canada to her late parents, Luke and Ivone (Gagne) Morin. Gishlaine grow up with her family in Quebec, Canada before meeting her husband in New Brunswick, Canada and then relocating to East Hartford where they settled and raised their family. When Ghislaine wasn’t cooking and taking care of her family, she enjoyed crocheting, making many warm blankets for the people she loved. She leaves behind her 3 loving children. Her son Dennis Michaud (Annie) of East Hartford, a daughter Nancy Michaud of East Hartford and another son Kevin Michaud (Rachel) of East Hampton. Also, the 3 joys of her life, her 3 granddaughters; Tina, Sarina and Sadie Michaud. Ghislaine also leaves behind several brothers and sisters in Quebec, Canada along with her brothers and sister-in-law in New Brunswick, Canada and 1 sister-in-law in Maine. She was predeceased by her 2 brothers in Quebec, Canada. Calling Hours will be held Tuesday April 6, 2021 from 5pm to 7pm at BJ Callahan Funeral Home 318 Burnside Ave. East Hartford, CT. 06108. We will gather before Church at BJ Callahan Funeral Home on Wednesday April 7, 2021 between 9 and 9:30 before leaving for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St Mary’s Church 15 Maplewood Ave. East Hartford, CT. 06108.
