Elin Patricia Dube

Born in Brockton on March 17, 1947, she was a daughter of the late William and Elsie Melendy. Elin was a graduate of East Bridgewater High School with the Class of 1965. On August 1, 1965, she married the love of her life, Bruce Dube. Together they celebrated 55 years of marriage.

Elin attended X-Ray school and went on to become a Registered Certified Radiologist. Prior to her retirement, she ran the X-Ray department at South Shore Medical Center.

Elin was very proud of her Swedish heritage. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, quilting, gardening, and going golfing at the Dennis Pines Golf Course where she had a hole in one. Elin loved to spend time by the ocean. She enjoyed the beach and fishing for Stripers. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with family.

Elin is survived and will be deeply missed by her husband, Bruce Dube; her son, Eric Dube and his wife Christine; her grandchildren, Cole Dube and Courtney Pugsley; and her great-grandchildren, Logan, Cora, and Cameron; as well as her sister, Jean Silva.

She was predeceased by her son, Jason August Dube; and her grandson, Tyler Merola.
