Mr. Kowalczyk was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, honorably discharged on December 21, 1954. He was a Printer 3rd Class U.S. Maratime Service in Sheepshead Bay, NY, also employed by General Motors in Linden and Allied Chemical Corp. in Elizabeth.
Mr. Kowalczyk served as First Ward Councilman for the City of Elizabeth, Union County Freeholder, Director of Income and Revenue, NJ Violent Crimes Compensation Board, member of Municipal Alcohol Beverage Control Board, Board of School Estimate and Board of Adjustment. He was a Post Commander and Life member Post 91 Polish Legion of American Veterans, Past Commander of NJ Veterans Council, Past Commander of Elizabeth War Veterans Central Committee, member of American Legion Post 102, and life member of Knights Columbus Council 3310.
Casimir was the beloved husband of the late Helen (Obuch) Kowalczyk, devoted father of Barbara Dmiczak and her husband Chuck, Deborah Satz, Casimir Kowalczyk and his wife Davia, Gregory Kowalczyk and his wife Rachel. Cherished grandfather of Jason, Lauren, Brandon, Cristian and Ava. Great grandfather of Luka. Dear uncle of Madalynn Falanga, Alexander Kowalczyk as well as many other nieces and nephews. A special Thank You to Tracey for taking such good care of our father. Casimir was a dog lover and enjoyed daily visits from Buddy and Leo.
He is predeceased by his parents; Adam and Maryanne Kowalczyk, siblings; Margie (Gladys) Zelenick, Eugenia Sinutko, Alexander, Adam and Chester Kowalczyk, Son- in- law, Ira Staz.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, 9:00 am from Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, Linden (908)352-9190. Funeral mass will be offered at St. Adalbert RC Church, Elizabeth 10:00 am. Entombment Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Linden.
