Tanya Smith Taylor, age 53, passed away peacefully in her home on March 30th, 2021 following a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Stuttgart, Germany on February 28, 1968 and was raised in Tallahassee, Florida.
Tanya was a beautiful, creative, and kind soul. She was empathetic and compassionate, yet still managed to be strong and determined. She was never afraid to follow her passions, and stand up for what she believes in.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Alan Taylor, with whom she will now be reunited.
She is survived by her mother, Sherrie Ferrell, and father, David Ferrell, as well as her daughter, Andrea Smith, and son Joshua Taylor.
She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends she leaves behind.
