Josephine, also known as "Jo", married the love of her life, James, and was married for 67 years. They were like two peas in a pod and were often seen holding hands. Together they raised their twelve children. She loved being a mother but also enjoyed her career as a nurse at various hospitals over the years. She was a longtime member of St. Edith Catholic Church in Livonia, Michigan for 35+ years. She was always very social and loved getting her family together for their family reunions so she could make her famous potato salad and was also known for her chili. While raising her children she found her love for poetry. It was her "get away" and she was so proud when one of her poems was published in Book of Poems. In her later years, Jo enjoyed playing Bingo or Solitaire with her friends and family. Josephine will be deeply missed by those who knew her.
