Jorge was born on January 29 1993 in Rio Grande City. Jorge was a long-time resident of Houston. He had many passions in life. From off-roading on the weekends and mudding with his friends, shooting guns at the gun range, or even something as simple as having a small BBQ on the weekends with family and friends. Jorge was many things in life. A loving son, brother, uncle, and cousin. His capacity to love I truly believe knew no bounds. He was quick to forgive and even quicker to give you a shoulder to lean on. He was the most caring and loving person when it came to his nieces and nephews. He was their partner in crime, letting them get away with endless amounts of antics but in his eyes, they could do no wrong. His presence could truly light up any room. His laugh was contagious and his smile always made you feel at ease. This world was truly a better place with him in it and as much as it pains us all, heaven is now a better place with him in it.
Jorge is survived by his mother Ana L. Lopez, his father Jose M. Lopez, and his brothers Jose A. Lopez, Angel Lopez, Randol Manjarrez, Alex Manjarres, Jose Manjarrez, and a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
The Lopez, Mireles, and Barrera families would like to take this time to thank everyone who helped us during this very difficult time. None of this would have been possible without your help. We are eternally grateful to you.
