Elizabeth Blair, 65, of Jemison, Alabama passed away on April 4, 2021 at her home. She was born in Shady Springs, West Virginia to the late Cecil Ray Murdock and Lois Ruby Murdock of West Virginia. She was an active member of Church of the Highlands and loved her Lord and Savior. Elizabeth was a bus driver for over 20 years for the Shelby County school system. She enjoyed trips to the mountains and to the beach with her family. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren; the dedication she showed to them was phenomenal.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Buster Blair; two sons, Joseph Blair (Amy) of Alabaster, Alabama, and Josh Blair of Columbiana, Alabama; 4 grandchildren, Victoria Roberts Blair, Joseph Liam Blair, Cody Hood, and Dustin Hood; two stepdaughters, Anna Pittroff (Steve) of Marysville, Ohio, and Debbie Bryant (Frank Corcorkon) of Wilmington, North Carolina; 5 siblings, Michelle Ratcliff, Anna Faye Murdock, Regina Murdock, Phillip Murdock, and Mary Yavon Murdock.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo) from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
