A tiny spitfire at just a tad over five feet tall, Faye started as a point guard for her high school basketball team. Her love of sports was life-long; everyone knew not to call during a televised Razorback game.
Faye enjoyed flea markets, yard sales, and her doll collection. She loved good food and good friends, but it was her family she loved most of all.
Those who will miss Faye most are Hershel Keener, her devoted and caring husband of three years; children Denice (Rick) Davis and James “Doug” (Diane) Kizziar; grandchildren Jarred (Megan) Davis, Marc (Sonya) Davis, James “Jim” Kizziar, and Sara Kizziar; great-grandchildren Kaitlyn Hurtt, Carson Davis, Emma Davis, and Scout Davis; and siblings Luther (Harriet) Hardy and Wanda Smurl.
Faye was a member of the Southwest Missionary Baptist Church.
A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home at 10 am Monday, April 12, 2021.
Some attending the service are considered high health risk and are not yet vaccinated; the family asks for all those attending to please wear a mask and to safely social distance.
