His faith in Jesus Christ was evident throughout his struggle with cancer. Jeremy gave God all the glory for saving him through grace, and for rescuing him from addiction! He wanted to do his best to help others be saved as well.
He was a bright, kind young man, and his wit was evident to anyone who spent time with him. Jeremy was blessed with many skills including carpentry, art, and music. He enjoyed singing and playing guitar and drums. He loved car and truck shows, and would often draw out his dream truck with all the customizations.
Jeremy is survived by his mother and father, Esther Gerald Drummond and David Johnson; a niece and nephew, Kaylee Johnson and Patrick Johnson; a sister-in-law, Aimee Mack Johnson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Jacob Johnson and Judd Johnson, as well as his maternal and paternal grandparents. Jeremy will be missed by many friends and family as well as his church family.
Visitation will be held at Galilee Baptist Church 11050 Greenwell Springs-Port Hudson Rd., Zachary, LA on Saturday, April 17 at 12:00 noon with services to follow at 2:00 p.m.
Pall bearers are Johnny Gerald, Howard Gerald, Steve Gerald, Robert Kennedy, Doug Cornelius, and Charlie Gregoire.
