Jason attended Belleville West High School, then went on to graduate from Lindenwood University with an MBA. He was a massage therapist for a number of years, and then worked as a plant technician and lab analyst at Procter and Gamble.
Jason was an avid St. Louis Blues fan. He also enjoyed playing the guitar, bicycling, golfing, fishing, camping and hiking. He was a volunteer for Heartlinks Grief Center. Jason was well known for his steaks, but most of all, he was an amazing father. Jason was a proud and incredibly devoted father; his children were his whole world. He was a funny, smart, sarcastic and very caring individual with a heart of gold. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his brother Shane Hubert, in infancy; and his aunt Gwen Polansky.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his children Grace Hubert and Grant Hubert; their mother Sara Hubert; his parents Teresa Hubert and Michael Hubert; sister Stephanie Schmidt; stepmother Sharon Hubert; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the children’s scholarship fund through Raymond James Financial.
An informal memorial gathering will take place at First Christian Church, located at 5929 Old St Louis Rd, Belleville, IL 62223, on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 2 pm to 4 pm.
