Dawn Fay McIntyre Whited born October 24, 1957 in Lansing, MI to Vincent and Doris McIntyre, passed away peacefully, at home, with her daughters at her side, Saturday, April 17, 2021. Dawn was a graduate of Caledonia High School Class of 1975 and later that year, on October 25th, married Billie Whited of Genoa, OH. Together they had two daughters. After their divorce, Dawn put herself through college, where she made the Dean's List. She excelled as a Program Director for Hope Network and later medically retired from Bradford White Corporation. Dawn enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, crocheting, needlepoint, her 4 little dogs, Netflix, and NAPS! She is survived by her daughters, Chantal Merrifield (Eric Sorenson) and Mandi Wolf. Grandchildren Torri, Jaysah, Jake, and Jared Merrifield, Wyatt Sorenson, Bailey Pierce, and Samantha and Jyllian Wolf. Great granddaughters Toliah and Taelynn Merrifield. Sisters Donna (Terry) Streit, Debra Crable, Diane Chambers, and Doreen McIntyre, several half siblings: Sherryl (Doug) Robinson, Alabama, Darwin (Kristi) McIntyre, Nashville, MI, Louise ( Tom) Brundage, Springport, MI, Del'Rae Bowers, Hastings, MI, Michael McIntyre, Florida, Donna Scherer, Lansing, MI, Debi Cheseboro, Florida, and Kevin (Patricia) Scherer, Virginia, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends she loved dearly. Dawn was preceded in death by her parents Vincent (Chuck) and Doris McIntyre, brother John Laverne McIntyre, great grandson, Maizen Wickerink, and half sister, Jade Ann McIntyre. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Friday April 23rd at 11:00 AM at The Ole Orchard 850 North State Street Ionia, MI 48846.
