David Kay Barnett was born on June 28, 1935 in Bearden, OK to Alston & Lorene Barnett. He left this life on April 20, 2021. David married the love of his life, Rebecca, on August 28, 1954. They had two beautiful daughters, Debora & Deniese. David worked at J.M. Huber Corporation and retired after 34 years of service. After retirement, he volunteered with the Amarillo Police Department for over 24 years.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Alston and Lorene Barnett. He is survived by his wife Rebecca Barnett, his daughters Debora Parks (Ronald) of Fritch, TX & Deniese Dahan (Matthew) of Southlake, TX. Four grandchildren Chuck Parks (Shanna), Wes Parks, Matthew Parks (Angela), Whitney Snider (Jonathan). Four great-grandchildren Kaden Parks, Jace Parks, James Snider and Kaydee Parks. Brother, Richard (Kathy) Barnett of San Marcus, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
