He was born June 21, 1950, in Bainbridge, Ohio, to parents John Christopher and Florence (Kampf) Murton. Carl was a hardworking man who retired from R&R Sanitation as a truck driver. He loved old cars and could always be found tinkering around in his garage. Carl also enjoyed tending to his flower beds.
Most of all, he cherished his time spent with family and friends, especially his grandkids. Carl he never met a stranger as he became friends with whomever he met. And if you ever needed help, he would drop whatever he was doing to come and assist. He was a huge part of everyone’s lives, not just family but friends too.
Carl is survived by his children: John (Lisa) Murton, Carl (Michelle Evans) Murton Jr., and Michaelena (Lee) Jewell, his grandchildren: Mercedes Murton, Carl Murton Esq., Timothy Murton, Hannah Murton, John Michael Oles, Little Lee Jewell, Lillian Jewell, and Ellie Jewell, as well as his great-grandchildren: Estella and Rustin Murton.
