Thomas Sloan Worsham, 87, of Greeley, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at UC Health, Greeley Hospital. Thomas was born October 14, 1933 to JW and Stella Mae (Brooks) Worsham in North Carolina. Thomas married Violet Sprouse in Virginia in 1957 and she died in 1983. He married Sandra Linker in 1990 in Fort Morgan, Colorado.
Thomas lived in Virginia and North Carolina for a short time but has lived in Colorado since 1964. He attended the Embry Riddle School of Aviation in Miami, Florida, graduating in 1957. He also served in the United States Air Force. He went on to work as an airframe and power plant mechanic, and worked as a mechanic for United Airlines for 38 years.
Thomas enjoyed fishing, camping, playing and building classical guitars, and had his private pilot’s license.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Worsham: daughter Sandy Williams; stepson Brian Lundock; sister Margaret Lewing; grandchildren Cassie Ballez, Jeff Williams, Nic Worsham, Cheyanne Williams, Colten Lundock, and Kegan Lundock; and two great-grandchildren Nevaeh Ballez and Dismas Ballez.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Steven Michell Worsham; and stepson Brad Lundock.
