She was born on June 9, 1922 in Osceola Mills, PA to Robert and Hannah Davidson.
Naomi was married to her high school sweetheart, Harold Dumbleton, on October 13, 1942 and was happily married until his death on August 17, 1969. Being widowed at such a young age, she took pride in providing for her 3 daughters as owner of her own beauty shop. She was ahead of her time in being a woman who owned and operated her own business. She was an accomplished hair dresser and worked at her profession well into her 80’s which is remarkable.
She had many activities and passions that kept her very busy every day of her life such as ballroom dancing and tap dancing. She was also an accomplished knitter and crocheter. Naomi sewed beautiful matching dresses for her 3 daughters for church for many years and her granddaughters. She loved to cook and bake. Naomi loved to bowl and to golf. She walked and exercised every day of her life. As anyone who knew her knows, pink was absolutely her favorite color right down to her pink brick house which she was so proud of.
Naomi is survived by her 3 daughters. Patricia (Richard) Albrecht and grandchildren Jeffrey, Gregory, and Judy and also 6 great grandchildren. Deanna (Philip) Plunkett, grandchildren Heather and Shannon (David) and 5 great grandchildren. Denise (Ronald) Strong and grandchild Guy. She is also survived by her beloved brother William Davidson and dear friend Mary. Naomi was known as “Aunt Blondie” because of her beautiful blonde hair, to many loved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold, friend Wade, sisters: Roberta, Mabel, Helen, Hannah, Vera and brother Robert.
Naomi was a member of Knox Presbyterian church in Harrison Twp., MI for over 60 years and liked nothing better than setting out her outfit to wear every Saturday night for church.

Funeral service for Naomi will be held on Wednesday May 12, 2021, beginning with a gathering at 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am, at Knox Presbyterian church 25700 Crocker Blvd., Harrison Twp., MI 48045. Interment will take place at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery in Clinton Township, MI following the service.
