Karin Marie Stauble Edlin, 63, died on May 1, 2021 at the Hosparus unit of Norton Healthcare of Louisville. Born on December 18, 1957 in Louisville, she was the eldest of five children born to Richard Stauble and Mary Bayer Stauble. A beloved mother, and grandmother, she was a Catholic by Faith.
Karin retired from restaurant management following a severe stroke that disabled her. She loved animals and enjoyed arts and craft projects, flowers, bingo, sightseeing trips and time spent with family and friends. She especially enjoyed the many volunteer hours she spent as a Greeter at the Louisville Zoo.
Karin was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Rick Stauble. She is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Avis (Chasitiy) and Rebecca Moore (Manuel) and five beloved grandchildren: Deja Smallwood, Miracle Moore, Angel Moore, Manuel Moore – Alonzo and Heaven Moore – Alonzo. She is also survived by her siblings, Victoria Meeks (Steve), Michael Stauble (Dawn) and Laura Beatty (Jim), her mother and her extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
