Wess Kevin Fulton, 64, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2021 in Lansing, Michigan. Born April 12, 1957 in Lansing to Merlin and Harlene (Wolverton) Fulton, Wess spent time as a child in Colorado before returning to the Williamston area where he spent much of his life.
Wess was a lifelong adventurer, an avid traveler who loved to hunt, fish, and camp all over the United States. He loved spending time on bikes - whether motorcycles or bicycles, he and his wife spent many happy days out on the road. Some of his happiest days were spent on the water, boating, fishing, and swimming with family and friends. He worked in the family log home construction business, but would occasionally take different jobs as a way to see more and experience more of the world, including stints as a truck driver. Recently, Wess had returned to school to advance his education in the healthcare industry.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Wess will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Dana Fulton; his stepdaughter, Katarina (Gabe) Stines; his grandson Zachariah and his future granddaughter; and his sisters, Denise, Carol, and Kim.
A Celebration of Wess's Life will be held on Sunday, May 16 from 1pm to 3pm at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Williamston Chapel, 205 E. Middle St. in Williamston. There will be a time of sharing, beginning at 1:15pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the CBN 700 Club, or the Holt American Legion.
