Davis Alexander Brady, 22, of Jacksonville, Florida. Passed away suddenly on April 26, 2021.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 15th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors with Mr. Jordan Mayfield and Dr. Ben Perry officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 14th, 2021 at the funeral home.
Davis was born on July 24, 1998 to Stephen J. Jr. and Veronica Ann (Lavender) Brady in Mesa, Arizona. He resided in Jacksonville, Florida at the time of his death. He attended Provident Heights, Harmony Science Academy, and he graduated from China Spring High School in 2016. He was a member China Spring Band and Wind ensemble, who won Texas State Teacher Association Honor Band. Davis earned the Eagle Scout Award in 2017. He attended McLennan Community College on a music scholarship. He served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Brazil. Davis worked for Cheddar’s Restaurant as a waiter and Bartender. He was a member of a band and the Jacksonville car club. Davis loved creating art and music. He could play many musical instruments. He loved the ocean, and most of all, he was always upbeat, loved and wanted to serve those around him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Allen Lavender, Stephen Brady, Sr. Carolyn Brady, cousin, Chelsey Isaacs.
Survivors include his mother, Veronica Ann Brady of Waco, father, Stephen J. Brady, Jr. of Waco, sisters, Erica Cerdas of Idaho Falls, Annah Brady of Waco, Avery Brady of Waco, brothers, Andrew Brady of Waco, Micah Brady of Waco, grandmother, Jo Higginbotham of Waco, aunts, Terry Fabac of Cameron, Robin Smith of Dallas and Denise Childs of China Spring, and many extended family members.
