Joseph Lee Michotte entered into eternal life on Tuesday, May 4th, 2021 and his legacy is carried on by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends from many walks of life. Joe grew up in Pt Marion, PA where he graduated from high school in 1950. He entered in the US Navy and where he proudly served in the Korean War from 1953 to 1956 working in the postal service on the ship he was assigned to. Joe had many stories he loved telling on his many travels while in the military and he was so proud to be a Veteran. Prior to entering the Navy he met the love his life from high school Anne and upon discharge from the military due to the death of his father, they married in 1957 and soon left to start their lives in Orlando, Florida.
If you were fortunate to have known Joe, then you know he loved the news often filling in his family friends on world events, weather issues, politics, and updates on the everchanging city of Orlando. He enjoyed Florida State football, working in the yard, followed by a cold beer to cool off.
Survivors include his wife Anne, children and grandchildren: Jodi (Daniel) La Vineand their children Danielle, Josh (Joy) and his children Dianna, Cody, and Julian, Karrie (Bret) Ronk and their children Mathew and Nicholas. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Carrie.
