Stacey Katherine Faile (nee Foote), age 43, of Fairview Park, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Fairview Hospital of Cleveland while under the care of Cleveland Clinic Hospice. She was surrounded by her loving husband and immediate family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 5, 2021 at the Donauschwaben German-American Cultural Center, 7370 Columbia Rd, Olmsted Township.
The family will receive family and friends from 2 until 6 pm. Casual or business casual attire requested.
Stacey was born on April 5, 1978 in Akron. She is a 1996 graduate of Cuyahoga Heights High School and 2000 graduate of The University of Toledo with a BS in Civil Engineering. She became an Ohio certified Professional Engineer in 2006 and was a MS Candidate in Water Resources Engineering at Cleveland State University. Stacey worked for OHM Advisors as the Northeast Ohio lead of their Environmental & Water Resources Group and previously as a Project Engineer for AECOM and Metcalf & Eddy.
Stacey had an infectious personality, a passion for life, and endless positive energy. She loved to socialize, play volleyball, hike, bike, exercise, animals, natural health, local foods, and more than anything to vacation. Her favorite thing was relaxing on a beach.
She is survived by her Devoted Husband Mike; Parents Ed & Carol (nee Smolik) Foote, Parent-in-laws Bob & Diane (nee Rohm) Faile; Grandma Kathleen (nee Spring) (Herbert, deceased) Foote; Siblings Nicki (Clint) Kaptur, Vanessa Foote, and Bradley (Britney) Foote; Sibling-in-laws Steve (Margaret) Faile and Tiffany (nee Faile) (Gary) Harrington. She is also survived by her Nieces and Nephews William Kaptur; Dessiray, Alisha & Jacob Barylak; Alessandra, Joshua, & Jared Faile; Cayden & Dillon Welsh, John & Isaiah Bowman; as well as a plethora of additional loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Grandparents John & Beverly (nee, Fiala) Smolik and Herbert Foote.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made in memory of Stacey K. Faile to the Cleveland Metroparks' Rivers & Lakes Fund or Rocky River Reservation Enhancement Fund or to Tinker's Creek Watershed Partners which is an organization in which she was involved.
