Glenn was born in Vancouver, Washington to Fred and Cecile Higdon on July 22, 1938. He graduated from Evergreen High School in Vancouver, Washington. He married Pearl Bennett on September 2, 1960, in Kennewick, and worked in House Keeping at Everett General Hospital for nearly forty years while raising four children and two grandchildren. Along with active membership in his church, Glenn and Pearl were well known for their elaborate Christmas display. Glenn loved to read the Christmas story, and had a love for southern gospel music. Glenn loved going to Ferndale Holiness Camp.
Glenn is preceded in death by his wife Pearl, daughter Glenda Eastbury, his parents, Fred and Cecile Higdon, and his siblings.
Glenn is survived by his children; son Glenn (Ray), daughter Pearl and spouse Chuck, daughter Phyllis, thirteen grandchildren, thirteen exchange student grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Chuck & Pearl Reinke at 7107 Troon Court, Arlington, Washington 98223 to cover any remaining funeral expenses. All remaining funds will be donated to M.A.F. in Australia towards Missionaries Nikolai and Brad Ballin. Funeral Services with take place at 1 pm on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at the Snohomish Church of the Nazarene, 1017 13th St, Snohomish, WA 98290. Additionally a viewing will take place before the services at Noon. Grave site at 3:00 PM at GAR cemetery.
