Daniel Scott Mitchell was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He passed away after a sudden illness on May 28, 2021. Daniel was 42 years old. Daniel was born to Dan and Wanda Mitchell on November 16, 1978 at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Mitchell, his sons Michael (Marissa) and Noah Mitchell, and his daughter Chloe Mitchell. He will also be missed by his parents, his sisters Tracy (Lee) Boris and Amy (Aric) Newhouse, his best friend Ryan (Kate) Gillespie and many friends. Daniel worked as an aircraft service technician at Wright Patterson AFB, a skill that he developed while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Daniel was foremost an accomplished and talented artist. His work and artistic vision are an important part of his legacy. He looked forward to returning to and exploring the Western United States, where he was born and spent his young childhood. Daniel's quick wit and inquisitive nature were his hallmarks, but his art and his relationships with his family and treasured friends completed him. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, June 11, 2021 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd at Grange Hall Rd. Blake Blunkall officiating.
