Lois Mae Hunter, age 81, of Peculiar, MO. passed away on June 4, 2021 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. She was born on February 3, 1940 in Slater, Missouri the daughter of Howard H. "Jack" and Dorothy (Crawford) Hall. She married George "Sam" Hunter on July 22, 1956 and he preceded her on December 11, 1989.
Lois was a Accounting Supervisor for Cartwright Van Lines for 20 years. She enjoyed watching Horror movies. She shared this pass time with her grandchildren who now enjoy this genre also. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren, taking them to the pool and park. She spent her free time doing needlepoint, croqueting, reading her extensive library collection. She kept a meticulously clean house and loved planning holiday gatherings with her family especially Christmas and Thanksgiving.
She is survived by three daughters: Cheryl (Husband: Mike) Ulses of Peculiar, MO., Terri (Husband: Scott) Wheeler of Peculiar, MO., and Debbie (Husband: Steve) Aduddell of Grandview, MO. One son: Wayne Hunter of Corpus Christi, TX. One brother: Larry (Wife: Janice) Hall of Peculiar, MO. Nine Grandchildren, Fifteen Great Grandchildren, and Three Great Great Grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by those who loved and knew her.
