Lillian B. McCoy, age 91, of Carmichael, CA passed away on June 3rd, 2021, as a result of a fall. She was born in Watertown, New York on August 2nd, 1929 to Apolonya and Victor Brzezinski. She was the youngest of six children born to parents who came from Poland. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Victor on October 5th, 1993, and her son, Duane on May 14th, 2021. She is survived by her children: Sandra Redding (Ron deceased); Neal McCoy (Jan deceased); Linda Dinsmore (Mike) and Charlene Fernandes (Rick). She will be missed by many, including her grandchildren: Ron Redding Jr, Laura Del Olmo, Michelle Garner, Kelly Garner and Jerry Garner Jr. She had 11 great grandchildren. She will also be remembered by numerous Nieces, Nephews, and friends.
Lillian married Victor D. McCoy on October 25th, 1946. Prior to moving to California in 1959, they made their homes in the Watertown, New York area.
Lillian worked for Pacific Telephone for 37 years. She began her career as a switch board operator and retired as a Communication Technician.
Prior to Victor’s passing in 1993, they enjoyed their various RVs to visit family and friends throughout the United States. For many years in January, they traveled to Quartzsite, Arizona with a group of friends, affectingly known as “Snowbirds”.
Lillian loved to work in her flower garden; was always ready to go to “Red Hawk” in search of that one lucky slot machine; crocheted, quilted, loved to play cards and was an exceptional cook.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 10th, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA. A reception in Lillian’s honor will be held at the Elks Club Lodge, 11440 Elks Circle, Rancho Cordova, CA immediately following the service.
Lillian will be interred next to Victor in Watertown, New York on July 31st, 2021.

Our family would like to thank the “Atria of El Camino Gardens” where Lillian resided since July 2017 for the love they showed our Mom during the past 4 years.
