Pamela Irene Brown is finally at peace after a long courageous battle that many did not know she was fighting. She lived a life for her family, friends and community. She will forever be remembered for her love, optimism, strong willed spirit and passion for teaching in the Chenango Valley School District. Pamela is predeceased by her grandparents, Earl and Bertha Salisbury, Irene and Robert Knox and father, Phillip Knox. She will be deeply missed by her mother, Laura Knox, husband of nearly 40 years, Robert Brown; her children Robert and Katrina Brown, Corey Brown and Jackie Gartenman, and Amanda and Michael Heath; her grandsons Andrew, Carson and Levi Brown, and Grayson Heath; her siblings Rick, Rob and Ron Knox and Judy Little and her nieces and nephews who Pam absolutely treasured. To everyone who knew her, she was considered an angel herself and it is no coincidence that she took her last breath in the arms of the angels at Mercy House in Endicott. In lieu of flowers, the family would be extremely grateful for donations to this incredible charity. A memorial service will be held at the Ogden Hillcrest United Methodist Church on Friday, June 18th at 10am in Hillcrest.
