Obituary of Mary Jo Walz

Mary Jo Walz, age 88, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the home of her loving daughter, Vicki Piotrowski. Born in Miami, Florida on November 2, 1932.

A lifelong Floridian, Mary Jo was an accomplished artist and avid gardener. She loved to travel, entertain and explore nearby restaurants and shops.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. Walz, in 2005. Immediate family survivors include Vicki, her husband Mike and their son, James.

Her generosity and hospitality will be missed and remembered by many.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St. Francis Reflections.
