She was born in El Dorado, TX on January 20, 1932 to Pauline and H.E. Sharp. She attended North Texas State University in Denton, TX where she met the love of her life Taylor Norman whom she was married to for 67 blessed and blissful years. Helen was an active member at the First Baptist Church of San Angelo, where she was a Sunday School Leader, served on several committees, and sang in the Glory Choir; Helen also volunteered her time and love for 15 years at Shannon Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents-H.E. and Pauline Sharp, her 2 brothers J.D. and Hiram Sharp & Sister-in-law Betty Sharp. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Taylor Norman and their Daughter Debi (Dale), The greatest joys of her life, Grandsons Jordan (Amber) and Shay (Nicole) and 4 precious great-grandchildren Peyton, Kayla, Savanah and Jackson.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Raj Cheruku and his office staff for their caring and unwavering support of our darling wife, mother, grandmother and to the entire family-We can't Thank You enough. We'd also like to Thank the 6th floor nurses of Shannon Hospital and to the wonderful ladies of Hospice of San Angelo for all the love, and support they shared not just to our mom, but to our entire family.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at First Baptist Church with burial to follow at Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the First Baptist Church of San Angelo Blessing Box or Mission Fund.
