Jackie, loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, was brought into this world on March 12, 1947, to Anna (Andrew) Gibb and Jack Gibb in Paisley, Scotland. After immigrating to the United States, the Gibb family made their home in Portchester, NY. Jackie married William Faulhaber of New Rochelle, NY, in August 1967 and together they made their home in Rochester, NH, where they raised their daughters. While Jackie was raising a family, she was an active volunteer in the local community with Girl Scouts of America, Allen School PTO and the New Hampshire Scottish American Society, Clan Buchanan. Jackie’s professional career as an administrative assistant for the Rochester School Department spanned over 20 years.
After her retirement to Cape Cod in 2010, she poured herself into her community. She was active in several organizations including the Friday Baking Club, Cape Abilities, and the Academy for Lifelong Learning.
Jackie is predeceased by her parents, Anna and Jack Gibb, and her brother, John A. Gibb of Portchester, NY.
Jackie is survived by her best friend and life partner, William Faulhaber, daughters Darby Lewis of Plymouth and Alison Faulhaber of Lowell with their husbands Martin Lewis and Kyle Slowe. She adored her grandchildren Ashton and Stirling Lewis who knew Jackie as “Nanny.” She is also survived by her nephews John S. Gibb and Derek Gibb and her grand nieces and nephews.
Jackie’s family will be hosting a celebration of her life on Friday, July 16th from 1-4pm with a luncheon served at The Dennis Inn, 25 Scarsdale Road Dennis, MA. All who wish to attend are welcome.
Her final resting place will be at Woodside Cemetery with her family lair in Paisley, Scotland.
