Frances Harper Fogleman, 92, passed away at Beacon Place. Funeral services will be held at on Sunday July 18, 2021 at 2 pm, at First Baptist Church in Greensboro. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. A family private burial will be Monday at Westminster Gardens Cemetery.
Born July 28, 1928 in Vance County she moved to Greensboro in 1959 and was co-owner of Tinsley-Clark Co. and House of Linens. Mrs. Fogleman was a long-time member of First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Shining Light Sunday School class.
Frances enjoyed traveling to Asia, Europe, Hawaii and many states in the U.S. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. She loved spending time with her family and friends but, most especially with her grandsons, John, Koen, and Bryce.
Her husband of 67 years James M. Fogleman, Sr.; a son, David Fogleman; parents, and her four sisters and brother preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory include sons, Jim and Allen Fogleman; grandsons, John, Koen, Bryce Fogleman, and brother Sam Harper.
