Pedro was born January 31, 1948, in Juventino Rosas, GTO, Mexico to Pedro Perez (+) and Maria Concepcion Gomez (+).
Pedro migrated to the United States in 1965, and in 1979 he settled in Austin, Texas with his family. He worked construction helping build some of the I-35 overpasses running through downtown Austin. He later found his niche in the construction of inground swimming pools and was the successful business owner of Pure and Smooth Pool Renovations. He enjoyed watching football, baseball and being outdoors with his family.
Pedro was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Perez and Maria Concepcion Gomez; brothers, Ricardo, Benito, Alfonso, Hermenegildo, Gregorio; sister, Santos; and his daughter, Brigida Perez
Pedro is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maria Perez; sons, Pedro A. Perez, Roberto Perez, David Perez; daughter, Graciela Sisbarro; son-in-law, Anthony Sisbarro; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Vara; 4 grandsons; 12 granddaughters; 2 great grandsons; 2 great granddaughters; 1 sister, Vicenta Gomez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd. in Austin, Texas. Funeral services will begin the following day at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 22, 2021 in The Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Blvd. in Austin, Texas. He will then be eternally laid to rest in Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas.
