June grew up in Mineral. She joined the Army in 1945. She earned the rank of 2nd Lt. She met the love of her life, Joe, where she was working and he was recovering from an injury in WWII. She proposed to him and they wed February 1, 1946. They came home to Mineral to live. She worked at Western Clinic in Mineral and National. They adopted Jody and Kelly and she stayed home with her babies until they were both in school. June went to work at Morton General Hospital and retired from nursing in 1981. She loved reading, most of all she enjoyed crocheting, gardening, stamp collecting, painting, and quilting.
June adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spending time with them. She helped deliver a lot of babies and adored all babies!
We know she is with Joe dancing in his arms.
