Jutta (Judy) Berent, 89, of Victoria, British Columbia, passed away peacefully on the morning of September 11, 2021.
Jutta was born in Berlin, Germany on November 11, 1931, to the late Albert and Elisabeth Luedke. Youngest of seven siblings she eventually followed her older siblings to Canada in the early 1950s and settled in Montreal, Quebec. She soon met and married her husband and had a daughter, Constance.

After more than 25 years at the same company Jutta retired and moved west to Victoria. She loved living in Victoria and enjoyed trips to Butchart Gardens, ferry rides through the many islands, and playing Scrabble with friends.
Surviving Jutta are her daughter, Connie Naef and partner Bill Cox, a sister in Germany, a brother in Canada, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William Berent.
