Pauline Ray Overstreet, 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 20, 2021. She was born on June 19, 1929 at White Rock, Arkansas to George and Rosie Ray. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 42 years, Loyd Overstreet; siblings, Garland Ray, James Ray, Dorothy Johnson, Howard Ray and Mary Ann Ray.
She is survived by her three daughters, Leta Hughes, Hilda Lupardus and Cheryl Porter; three grandsons, Philip Carden, William Lupardus and Zachary Porter; one brother, Earl Ray, many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Pauline lived a full and interesting life, raising three girls and keeping every situation interesting. There was never a dull moment with Pauline, and all her friends and acquaintances referred to her as one-of-a-kind. She was the consummate entertainer, always cutting up.
She will truly be missed, but we know there is a celebration welcoming her to her heavenly home.
Funeral service will be 1 PM, Monday, September 27, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Fort Smith National Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 PM till 4 PM, Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home. Arrangements are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
