Lee Howell

Lee Dillard Howell, a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend went to be with the Lord on September 28, 2021 at the age of 94. Lee was born February 12, 1927 in Andrews, Texas.

He was a gifted contractor, woodworker, locksmith, and problem solver and loved to spend time in his cabinet shop building beautiful cabinets and furniture pieces. He served in the Army and was stationed in Italy.

Lee was preceded in death by his wife Laura Howell and his daughter Laura Dougherty. He is survived by 4 children - Mike Sopp, Steve Sopp, Patricia Morgan, and Linda Wiggins; 7 grandchildren - George Grimsley, Laura Juarez, Robert Marx, Jennifer McDuff, David Marx, Crissy Sopp and Steven Sopp; 11 great-grandchildren - Isabella Juarez, Ethaniel Juarez, Rian Marie Sopp, Clayton Lane Sopp, Sadee Kay Sopp, Clint Wayne Hinkle, Riley Kaitlynn McDuff, Hayden Wyatt McDuff, Mason James Marx, Emma Rose Marx, and Claire Evelyn Marx.

Lee was known as a kind and humble man and loved by all who knew him.

Graveside services will be held at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park on Monday, October 4 at 11:00am.
