Michael Gregory Gipson was born March 3, 1947 in St. Louis, MO. He enlisted in the Navy in 1964. He loved the Navy and he loved the USA. His patriotism was strong his entire life and he was very vocal about his love for this country. He passed away unexpectedly on October 3, 2021.
Michael worked for National Cash Register (NCR) for over 30 years. He was a Regional Sales Director and loved that his job gave him an opportunity to travel all over the world. After leaving NCR he became a handyman and owned his own business in Hartwell, GA. He loved working with his hands, fixing people’s home issues and even helping remodel homes. He could always find a way to “fix” a problem.
Mike lived in numerous states over the years. He lived in Missouri, Maryland, Ohio, Georgia, Florida and Arizona. Mike was an avid golfer, played tennis, loved Nascar, but his life-long love was the St. Louis Cardinals. The Redbirds were “his” boys!
Mike loved his Budweiser, traveling, his Ford F-150 pick-up, the ocean and having fun.
Michael was father to son Michael Gregory Gipson, Jr. (Amy), Ranson, WV and daughter, Heather Denis (Ian), Westminster, MD. He has two grandsons, Zachary and Cole Denis.
