Francesco “Frank” Persichilli, 88, of Manchester, NJ, passed away with family by his side at Rose Garden Nursing Home, Toms River, NJ, on Tuesday October 5, 2021. Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, in the Chambersburg section known as the “Burg”, Frank lived in Levittown, PA, then back to Trenton and Jackson before moving to Leisure Village West in Manchester in 2013. He proudly served in the US Air Force for 4 years during the end of the Korean War. Frank worked at Albert’s Rubber Machinery Co. before he became the owner. When he sold the business Frank then when to work at Universal Process Equipment as Sales Manager and then as Shipping Manager before he retired in 2000. Frank enjoyed building model ships as well as different types of clocks and had a pipe collection. He and Violet traveled extensively, loved cruises, entertained family and friends, Frank truly lived a full life.
Frank is survived by his wife of 30 years, Violet, his children; the late Gayle Persichilli, Martin Persichilli and his wife Denise, and Jennifer Persichilli, Violets children; Debbie Shapiro and her late husband Gary, Donna Torres and her partner Bill Wendel, Lilliana Borghesi and her husband Alberto, and Edward Torres, his 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Frank is also survived by his sister Clara Gioe and her husband Ben and his niece Francesca Gioe.
Family and friends are invited to the Memorial Service at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ, 08759, on Saturday October 9, 2021, from 10 am -12 pm.
