She was born in Almagro, Western Philippines on January 14th, 1964. She graduated from La Miligrosa Academy in Manila. She attended college in New Mexico, Maryland, and Texas. She was certified as a medical assistant and began studies to become a Registered Nurse when her breast cancer metastasized to her spine and prevented her from continuing her studies.
On August 23rd, 2002, Lorna married her husband David Ellsworth Beach. On May 22, 2009 Lorna and David were blessed with the birth of David Macario Beach.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pflugerville. Her faith was a driving force in her life, and she loved being involved in worship. She also loved to sing and to do art and crafting projects. Her family and her career as a medical assistant was deeply important to her. She also loved to cook and entertain.
She is survived by her beloved husband David; their son David Macario Beach; her father Macario Carbo Dela Bajan, her brothers and sisters: Rolando Onrejas Dela Bajan, Myrna Dela Bajan Palomar, Anatalio Onrejas Dela Bajan, Ma Lina Dela Bajan Pepito; and Nephews and Nieces: Randie Dela Bajan Sr., Felipe Pepito, Rocky Macky Dela Bajan, Diana Rose Ramirez, Riaflor Palomar, Michelle Dela Concepcion, Rina Castillo, Maureen Devora, Rezchelle Umali, Ruthchell Gadit, Ruby Vienna Vidal, Marian Pepito-Almagro, Marjury Pepito.
A visitation for Lorna will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas 78660. A funeral service will occur Friday, October 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Pflugerville, 306 S. 10th Street, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
Serving as pallbearers are Brad Goodman, Scott Scharck, Perry Durkee, Matt Lucas, Lee Garcia and Vincent DyCruz.
