She was born in Clio, Alabama on July 26, 1925. Celety graduated from Lakeview High School in Winter Garden, Florida.
She was married to Harold Kinzey in Orange County, Florida on March 16, 1944.
Celety worked as a telephone supervisor for Florida Telephone Cooperation and United Telephone Company of Florida where she retired after 35 years. During her time of service, she won the Mrs. Telephone Beauty Pageant, which was such an honor!
She was a very stylish lady. Her outfits, hair and makeup were always impeccable! Everything matched from her hair to her shoes to her handbags! She loved dressing up to the hilt, even going to the grocery store!
She really enjoyed entertaining in her home. The family had the best fish fry dinners in her backyard growing up. She always wanted to offer you something to eat when you visited her home. She loved doing for others.
To know her was to love her. She would do anything for anyone in need and loved helping people. She didn't want anyone to have a need that wasn't taken care of. She was always there to help others. She loved people.
She loved her family and spending time with them. Vacations in North Carolina, Alabama and Mississippi with family, especially her sisters, were some of her most memorable times! There was always lots of laughter, singing hymns and gossip, but, "Don't tell anyone I told you that!!!" We learned a lot about everybody on those trips!!!
