N. Paulette Williams, 75, of Valrico, FL went to her eternal home on October 11, 2021. Paulette was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and was a 1964 graduate of Chamberlain High School. She met her future husband, Don, at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tenn.
She served as a pastor's wife with the Church of the Nazarene for 38 years with ministries in Virginia, West Virginia, and Florida. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fairmont State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Library Science. She worked as a librarian and a teacher in Maryland, and taught elementary and middle school grades at Wimauma Elementary, Turkey Creek Middle School, and Mulrennan Middle School. She was married to Don for 52 years, and found her greatest joy in being a mother of two children. Most of all she lived her life as a true woman of faith, devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Donnie Williams, mother and stepfather; Mildred Cooper Vanek and Frank Vanek, sister Peggy Brown, in-laws; Beatrice and Homer Williams, brothers-in-law; Doug Williams, Branty Williams, Doyle Williams, several beloved aunts and uncles, and her grandparents.
She is survived by her husband Donald Williams, daughter Dina Williams, brother Dennis (Linda) Vanek, sisters-in-law; Lorena (Andy) Moyers, Cathy Williams, and Gail (Miguel) Aquino, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Blount and Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL. Interment will be at St. Luke's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Timberville, Virginia.
