Brett was born in Woodstock, Georgia on May 26, 1988 to parents, Lori Nienaber Como and Timothy J. Como.
A lover of basketball, Brett played throughout high school at Milton High. After graduation in 2006, Brett went on to attend and graduate from Athens Technical College and Chattahoochee Technical College.
Brett worked for Carvana as a CDL driver. Working for Carvana allowed Brett to travel and enjoy the scenic views. In his down time, he enjoyed Georgia’s waterfalls and game nights with his family. Brett was an avid sports fan; he played golf and loved rooting for UGA football team, the Atlanta Hawks, and the Braves.
Brett, the “gentle giant,” was so caring and supportive of everyone around him. Always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He will truly be missed by all those who had the honor to know him.
Brett is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard E. Nienaber and Arthur F. Como and aunt, Vickie Como Pratt.
Leaving behind to cherish his memories are his parents, Lori J. Como and Timothy J. Como (Melda); grandmothers, Margery A. Nienaber and Lois J. Como; sister, Megan E. Collins (Greg); niece, Dakota L. Collins, and a host of relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Brett’s honor may be made to the Humane Society.
